Toby Lockerbie- Director

 Toby Lockerbie  http://www.tobyloc.com/index.html

I chose Toby because I really liked the Rizzle Kicks videos and then found out Toby was the director of their videos.
Toby has directed Rizzle Kicks videos since 2010 and has worked with them ever since. Toby likes clever, creative and engaging cinematic film so has tried to incorporate these into the music videos for Rizzle kicks as well as other smaller commercial videos he has produced.
I chose to screen shot these two pictures above from the music video because I like the costumes and props used in Rizzle kicks videos, they give a quirky look to the videos and make them more unique to other videos. The costumes and props used in Rizzle Kicks videos are very common, RK fans expect this in their videos because it is their style and there is always something similar in all their videos even if that isn't costume and props. For example in Mumma do the hump the dance was the most iconic part to the video, they were wearing normal clothes and in a house yet there was still a quirky feel to the video and something we don't usually see in many videos as it was in style of a home video.

The second lot of screen shots I have chose I think are very interesting, I like the uniqueness of them and the vibrant colours that have been used. I also like the surreal look to them.

.

The three to the left I have chosen for the camera angles, in a lot of RK's video's they have a range of camera angles ranging from high to low, low to high, mid shots, establishing shots and close ups etc and to the left  are some examples of them. The pictures to the left are also examples of light, some are much brighter than others for example the top and the bottom left are very dark whereas the middle and                                                                                         the bottom right are much brighter especially the                                                                                          bottom as it is taken from the same video from                                                                                            outside yet more light is on his face in the right image

The screen shot to the left is another camera angle that has been used which is a panoramic view which i find very interesting as it is very different to the rest of the video and again gives off the quirky style to their videos and style

The final two above and to the left are performance shots and lip sinking which is also very common in a lot of their videos. In parts of every RK video there is either link sinking or some form of performance shot whether it is fake studio/studio or a live performance of them on tour.
